With over 15 years of coaching experience, Jeremy is passionate about health, fitness, and athletic performance. Throughout his life, he has excelled in three sports: a multiple national medalist in taekwondo, a Minnesota Open weightlifting champion, and through numerous accomplishments in CrossFit.
Jeremy's passion for fitness led him to pursue a degree in Exercise Science from the University of Northern Iowa. During his time there, he interned with XL Sports Acceleration. Over the course of his career, Jeremy has worked with individuals ranging from 5 to 70+ years old. Drawing from his experiences as both a coach and an athlete, he is dedicated to helping athletes reach their full potential, both in sports and in life

• Best advice for beginners: Play the long game. Be patient with your progress. Little by little, a little becomes a lot.

Sam Bastyr
Sam has 8 years of experience coaching at Progression Fitness, where he has done personal training, nutrition coaching, and whole group classes. Sam has his level 2 CrossFit certification.
His sports background is in Rugby. Starting as a freshman in high school, playing throughout college, and for a men’s team here in Rochester. He has experience coaching at both the high school and college level.
• Future Goals: Coach young athletes to be well rounded: strength, agility, mobility, speed.
• Best advice for beginners: Consistency and hard work will pay off.
Liz Becker
Liz has over 11 years of coaching experience spanning gymnastics, Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit, and general strength and conditioning. Her passion lies in helping people create lasting identity change by empowering them to believe in themselves and become the bravest, strongest version of themselves. Liz is a CrossFit Level 1 trainer, a Nationally Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and a Precision Nutrition Level 2 Master Coach. Throughout her athletic career, Liz has competed in three sports: gymnastics at the Xcel level, Olympic lifting at the national level for 10 years, and CrossFit - where she earned a top accomplishment of placing 3rd in the Open for the 14–15 age group.
• Future Goals: Inspire kids to see that they are capable of achieving any goal they set for themselves, and help them build confidence.
• Best advice for beginners: Just show up. Find small ways to enjoy the process, and celebrate every little win. Eventually those wins turn into progress that you may have never thought possible for yourself.
